Dear Engr. Salazar,
Congratulations! It is my honor to inform you that the UP Alumni Association — Cebu Chapter (UPAACC) will celebrate and honor you as among the recipients of the “Tatak UP Award 2024,” particularly in the Education category.
The awarding ceremonies will be the highlight of the UP Cebu Grand Alumni Homecoming on 6 December 2024, a Friday, at 6:00 p.m. Venue is the High School Gymnasium of the University of the Philippines Cebu campus in Lahug, Cebu City.
Every two years, the UPAACC grants the “Tatak UP Award” to alumni whose accomplishments in their respective fields of expertise, interest or passion have consistently shown a social conscience and have made a positive impact on the development and progress of Cebu, its various communities and other Cebuanos here or anywhere else in the world. Your selection was unanimously approved by a five-man Board of Judges composed of distinguished members of the Cebu society, most of whom were once Tatak UP awardees themselves.
As has been institutionalized though the years, the awardee must receive the “Tatak UP Award” in person. Attire code is Smart Casual. For you and one (1) companion, dinner is free-of-charge.
If the awardee cannot attend, the award will be forfeited. But he/she may be nominated again for the next awards in 2026.
Please come home and make December 6 a reunion so grand and memorable for all times.
