SCSIT teachers attended the ROTC Advocacy Summit held at Cebu City Hall last November. The summit was held in support of the proposed bill by the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., to make ROTC a mandatory college course. The summit also highlighted support for the efforts of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in Reserve Force Development. The purpose of ROTC is to instill the core values of nationalism, patriotism, courage, and discipline.
